Oh I have actually! I had forgotten about that one. It’s a great story. Thanks for the reminder. Christie Tate has another one that I’ve considered picking up called BFF: A Memoir of Friendship Lost and Found. Have you read that one?
I hope I can attend. I am supposed to be out of town for a volunteer experience. I may be able to break away for the hour. I'm currently reading The Second by Substack writer Colleen Burns Durda. It's a memoir of her challenges with bipolar. I met Colleen at one of my local Substack writers meet and greets I host in the Minneapolis/St Paul, Minnesota area.
I hope you can Cindy but if not, maybe next time! I hope to keep doing these. Also, I have read some of Colleen’s work but didn’t realize she has a memoir out. Her writing about mania and hypomania actually helped me to better understand what those conditions feel like. I saved them to share with clients 😊
Some great recommendations here Amber. I love a good memoir and am currently reading Maggie Smith's 'You could make this place beautiful' about the breakdown of her marriage. Definitely going to add some of these titles to the list 😊
I read this one a couple years ago....I was going through it at the time and feel like I didn't give it the attention it deserved. It's on kindle unlimited now so I plan to revisit it!
Have you read Group by Christie Tate? I’m 3/4 done and feel like being in a group therapy might benefit me and everyone !

No, but I shall look into it. 😁

I just bought Sociopath after hearing Patric on a podcast. Can’t wait to dig in!
I would love to hear your thoughts on it Lindsey!

Just bought The Full Catastrophe after seeing this post-excited to dive in.
Oh so many good books! Don't know where to start! I'll be adding some of these to my reading list.
I'm glad you see some that interest you!
Thanks for the book recommendations! Will definitely be checking them out! And yes—Dr. Sarah Fay is the absolute best!
Thanks for reading and stopping by! I hope you find a new great read :)
