I really like this, too. I agree that your name should be in it. Living in the Gray makes me think of a blog about aging well rather than coping with uncertainty. Navigating Uncertainty is an accurate description of the blog, but isn’t as punchy. Eva’s suggestion will catch someone’s eye while scrolling, make them think, “Oh hey, I struggle with that. And it’s written by a doctor? What’s this about?” Super effective title, I vote for this one!
I agree that your name and credentials should be featured. You’re a wonderful, extremely helpful resource. I think of Lori Gottlieb whenever I read your posts and feel that you deserve a huge following. I’m a primary care provider, for context, and just so impressed with you.
I really like "Navigating Uncertainty" but definitely with the "with dr. Amber", as I think your name is a fairly well-establish brand here on Substack :)
I agree that having your name/qualification is helpful to show you've got something specific to bring to your writing. I'm curious about what is making you feel a change might help others find you more than they do today? I appreciate your writing and the thought you bring to it. Thank you
Thanks for your input Sarah! I thought that it would help readers to find my work if the title was more specific about what they would be reading about. And I like the idea of creating a community here and thought it would help if my purpose was narrower. I think I always intended to update it once I had more clarity on what I was writing about here. But perhaps I should be looking at it differently....it seems like plenty of readers like the name as is and it's becoming more identifiable on substack. So maybe it will stay! Either way I am appreciating everyone's input!
What about 'Facing Your Fears with Dr. Amber' I personally think your name should be in the title so people instantly recognise that its still you 👍
Thanks for the suggestion Eva, and its a fan favorite! This is really helpful and definitely in the running!
Ooo, great! Glad to have helped 🤩

I voted but actually like this better.

Wow thank you so much! You just made my week :) I will definitely be saving this comment for when I need some encouragement.

Thank you Aleks! I am surprised by how many people think I should just keep Dr. Amber Writes. Maybe I am trying to fix something that's not broken.

I like what people are suggesting here - change the name, but keep w/Dr. Amber!!!
