Love this Amber. I always had a sense of my self being the same all the way through my life, though definitely getting fine tuned as I learn more! 💛

I love the concept of 'self-as-a-context,' and I often discuss it with the clients/patients I work with. However, the fusion with your different weather states is such an automatic thing we do!

Being mindful is something that takes a lot of intentionality for me. I appreciate the examples and the effort in trying to simplify the concept; however I understand the complexity it can present in our lives. It seems this topic is always relevant for all of us. Thank you!

Always loved that analogy of the sky and the weather, it's so helpful. Also love Richard Schwartz's framing of the Self and the Parts, which speaks to the same idea. Everyone seems to relate to it 😊

Isn’t it funny how all the modalities seem to rely on the same underlying tenets or interventions, just repacked with different theories 😂 It is incredible how much people resonate with IFS.
