In other news…..
I am considering a name change here at Dr. Amber_Writes! When I started this newsletter last January, I was unclear on what topics I would write about. I wanted the freedom to write on various topics and to present ideas in diverse ways.
Eight months and almost 500 subscribers (!) later, I realize that I am most passionate about sharing ideas, strategies, and stories about embracing uncertainty and facing our fears. This theme underlies most of what I write about, and it is a foundational component of my professional work as a whole. My hope is that clarifying and naming this intention will help new readers have a better sense of what is provided in this newsletter. As I lean into my niche, I hope to bring more downloads, audios, and maybe even some workshops!
Here are the titles I am considering. Would you mind casting a vote?
Which title most embodies what you read at Dr. Amber_Writes?
Should I include “with Dr. Amber” in any title I choose?
If you have other suggestions, feel free to share in the comments! I am open to suggestions.
Additionally, I have two free tickets to giveaway to the Mental Health and Motherhood virtual conference on October 11th! This is an all day event, that you can attend live or access via the replay. If you vote in my poll, leave me a comment letting me know that you want your name added to the giveaway! I will randomly select two winners on Monday September 9th!
What is the Mental Health and Motherhood Conference?

What about 'Facing Your Fears with Dr. Amber' I personally think your name should be in the title so people instantly recognise that its still you 👍
I agree that your name and credentials should be featured. You’re a wonderful, extremely helpful resource. I think of Lori Gottlieb whenever I read your posts and feel that you deserve a huge following. I’m a primary care provider, for context, and just so impressed with you.
